Back in 1971, Vereeken NV was established by Kamiel Vereeken.
Over the
years, he became the official distributor for Avon Racing tyres
in Belgium
and Luxemburg.
In 2003, Stefan Calbrecht took over the company, keeping the original
name,
to safeguard Vereeken’s well known reputation within the racing
world.
After working in the branch for over 10 years, he decided that
it was time
to head a new direction. Today, Vereeken wants to offer a complete
service
within motorsport. Not only offering trackside support to our
customers,
but also supplying products that cover all aspects of racing.
From building
and providing maintenance on race cars, to supplying Speedline
rims, Avon
tyres and Alpinestars racing gear.
All brands, distributed by Vereeken meet the highest standards, Speedline
is one of the worldleading manufacturers of Aluminium and Magnesium
racing
wheels for all kinds of championship cars: rally, hillclimb,
circuit racing
etc…Alpinestars racing gear is the new upcoming brand for professional
racing products such as suits, footwear, gloves, fireproof underwear
and
leisure wear. Today, two Formula 1 teams, Bar Honda and Renault
are racing
in Alpinestars gear.
Vereeken earned its reputation in Rallycross and Hillclimb. Today we
are working both on remaining a key player in the divisions in
which we are already active, as well as broadening our horizons.
Together with Avon Racing, we are developing and testing tyres
for
unexplored divisions within motorsport. Our latest work is being
put into
GT and Touring Car Championships, such as the renowned Belcar
in Belgium.
